    Favourite word

    What is your favourite word and why? Mine is widdershins, which is an old English word for anti-clockwise. I love the way it looks, the way it sounds. It is such a weird and silly looking/sounding word and so utterly brilliant. I love the English language, I love words- when I was eleven I used to take the giant Collins dictionary to school, I liked reading the dictionary.
