  1. http://www.wikihow.com/Get-a-Good-Reputation-on-the-First-Day-of-School-(for-Girls) It isn't specifically meant for aspies but it tells you what NT's look for when they judge people. It is meant for girls but a lot of these tips apply to guys. If you ignore the school setting I am sure you can apply a lot of these tips for work, social gatherings etc. Good luck everybody, I hope it helps.
  2. I'll start: I've developed a few social workarounds, some unintentionally and simply a result of adaptation. One of them is using group meetings as a means of talking to people without being as nervous, and getting an online contact where I can talk to them online where I'm more comfortable. In terms of unintentional adaptation, I've noticed that sometimes in a conversation with someone, without either of us realising, I will manage to learn information about the person without even intentionally steering the conversation in that direction or asking that question. Something unrelated simply pops up during the conversation, my brain automatically detects a possible link, and deduces the information. As an example, I was just chatting and posting stuff with a friend, and without even asking or realising, I learnt his sign and favourite colour as a byproduct of something entirely unrelated. When I told him that, and he realised, his response was simply "haha well done".

    Motivation Tips

This time of year I find it so hard to motivate myself to do anything. This morning I nearly skived off work because I just couldn't move from my bed. It's not that I wanted more sleep, I was wide awake, I just wanted to stay home. I'm sat at my desk now and I just can't motivate myself to do my jobs at work and they are only small jobs today. Everyone has days like this but I've been feeling like this for over a month now. I'm relatively ok up until christmas, but I am dreading January. It's the worst month for me, I get so down in myself and I just really struggle. Anyone have some tips to stay motivated so i don't lose my job?

    Travel Tips?

So I am planning on traveling tomorrow out of state for a vacation with my boyfriend and his family. I tend to have anxiety issues that ease once I'm on the road, just leading up to the trip I'm usually a mess. What do you do to ease this stress, anxiety, and panic? What do you do to make sure that your trip goes smoothly?
