Driving isn't really for me. I tried, but my coordination is very bad and i'm reacting too late and i can't focus on so many things at the same time. Evidence? I crashed a car when i was learning to drive. I could be a danger to society when i'm behind the wheel. I prefer walking and bicycle. Like Willow, my boyfriend is driving and that's enough for me.

I'm so glad I can drive because if I had to go on public transport I'd hardly be going aywhere.

I got my full G (meaning I can drive cars and vans) last year. It took me quite some time before I felt ready to take the road test, I used to have panic attacks just riding my bike at times. How is everybody's parallel parking? Mine, lets just say I'm glad I don't encounter it very often in my day to day drives. During our test, we are given 3 tries before the instructer basically tells us to give up. I finally got it on the last try! Probably some of my favourite times during the day are when I'm blaring my music on road trips. I drive a '99 Ford Escort

My parking is ok, but I've had lots of practice. If i drive an unfamiliar car then I find it more difficult at first, but with practice i adjust to it. I like to listen to music too, but I have to turn it off, or down, in the town where there is a lot of traffic I need to concentrate.

For the moment, cycling and getting the train suffice, I detest getting the bus, but enjoy getting the train, I'm learning to drive though :)

I did not bother driving much until I was 18 and in the USN, it was required for towing and driving GSE (Ground Support Equipment) on the flightline. Other than that I took cabs, walked or public transport. @ agw 22 after I got out I bought my first car.

I have owned

1. 1974 VW 412

2. 1968 Ford Galaxy

3. 1968 Plymouth Fury III

4. 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera

5. 1997 Kia Sephia

6. 2003 Pontiac Grand Am

and currently driving

7. 2007 Dodge Dakota

I got my license when I was 16 (maybe it was a permit, the car people changed the age right when I got mine)

My driving test was in a Nor'Easter (almost huricane for you non-yankees).

My first car was a Cryster (don't know the name) nickname'd Silver Junk

2nd was a Dodge Stratus

3rd was a big van

I drive a Dodge Caliber (I keep saying Excaliber) now.

My current car is a Nissan tiny 2 litre.

I like the bigger cars as I'm used to driving a van and small cars make you feel small and not so safe.
