You can get over that as all it takes is the will to improve yourself and you will find a way to excel, we can all learn to be better than we are.

Your score indicates that you have an above average EQ

I have a few qualms with this quiz.

First of all, it appears to be mostly etiquette, which most people can memorize and/or parrot off. There is nothing that asks me about actually feeling or empathizing - at which I completely fail.

That said, I'm surprised I scored above average :/

It is heart warming when one receives a report of such, I know but the EQ can be improved upon if one scores low but the EQ at least gives one a guideline to what they perhaps need to concentrate on to become better which then makes one come across better in social situations, that is of course if one has managed to deal with social situations in the first place.

Tonight I was analysing for tonight I was at a class for two hours and in the ten minute break after an hour, I found myself sitting on my own again watching all the others huddled in little groups chatting, realising nothing has changed, I am still the same as I always was feeling awkward in such settings and I was eager and relieved when the class recommenced. Now I know the others in the class and they know me, but it seems I cannot socialise so easily as it seems everyone else can, where I watched them, everyone just gravitated towards each other so naturally where I couldn't.

Then came a group exercise where we split off and two had to act in front of others, no pressure to act, but I couldn't do it despite the others in the group trying to get me to do so, I found myself backing away and saying  no chance of that although I wanted to as I knew it was for my benefit to do so, but I just couldn't do it.

So tonight was revealing, all that I thought I had improved on, the reality was in fact, I hadn't improved at all. But I really need to get over this stuff as I know it is hindering me and it was partly why I joined the activity five years ago ( performing arts ) in an attempt to get over my social fear.

But I have a job centre inspired course coming up in a few weeks time concentrating on confidence and motivation, I am so hoping I can get over this stuff as I really am aware nothing is going to get better until I can sort this issue out which amounts to confidence amongst people.
