Does anyone have a deep understanding of OCPD and how it can link with aspergers?

Far as I know there are no psychologists left here although Kroge seemed pretty informed.
First step, beware not to confuse OCD with "special interest". Having said that, maybe there's a connection. For example I agree many autists do tend to gather volumes of information on a subject (on the Russian site I'm on stuff like anatomy was often mentioned). As some do this obsessively, there may be an OCD association.
In the pure sense, OCD involves manic repetition as in cleaning, ordering, organizing, maybe stuff like not walking on lines. The most known trait is washing hands over and over.
